Membership of Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) has helped the publishing house to publish quality books and expand within a shot span
Dar Suad Salibi (Publishing House), named after Lebanese author Suad Salibi, was established in 2019 with the strategic vision of advancing Arab culture by strengthening
the book industry, publishing quality books and building a wide distribution network to ensure readers had easy access to them. The publishing house believes that an
efficient distribution system is the key to support and nurture readers with unique and valuable content that encourages new thought and leads to progress.
Ambitious vision
The vision behind Dar Suad Salibi is based on the belief that books and knowledge should be freely available to everybody and not restricted to a privileged few. Founded
on the view that reading is a key factor in the formation of character, Dar Suad Salibi has embraced the mission to instil a love of reading among people from all walks of life
by publishing a wide range of novels, apart from titles in the fields of history and social sciences, as well as books on women, among other subjects.
Fertile environment
Joining the Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) offered Dar Suad Salibi an exceptional opportunity to develop and prosper. It allowed the publishing house to thrive
in the progressive publishing environment in the UAE and participate in cultural events at the regional and global levels. The myriad of options and facilities offered by the EPA
enabled the publishing house to publish unique titles that served to establish its creative identity.
Dar Suad Salibi seeks to foster intellectual and cultural communication between people around the world through its publications. The publishing house aims to expand its
reach and introduce readers to creative Arab authors by participating in international book fairs, such as the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), Muscat International
Book Fair (MIBF) and Bahrain International Book Fair (BIBF) and other cultural initiatives and events. It has also adopted a special distribution policy to reach out to readers across the region and around the world.
