The 2017 London Book Fair is underway (from March 14 - 16) with major participation from Italy. About 40 Italian firms will represent their nation in the 46th largest international event focusing on publishing rights. The Italian Cultural Institute in London presents two books to be published in May - 'Il capitale umano. Conversazioni a Belgrave Square' [The Human Capital. Conversations at Belgrave Square], edited by Marco Delogu (Quodlibet), which is a continuation of 'Primo Autunno' [First Autumn] (Quodlibet, 2016). It features all the events organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in 2016 through the voices of the participants. It includes contributions by Giorgio Agamben, Alejandro Aravena, Peter Greenaway, Sandro Veronesi and many others. 'Remembering Giorgio Bassani' is a book which describes all the presentations delivered during a conference on the author of the 'Giardino dei Finzi-Contini' [The Garden of the Finzi-Continis], organised last year by the institute with the British Library and the 'Fondazione Giorgio Bassani'. It includes pieces by Stephen Gundle, Valerio Magrelli, Claudio Piersanti and Elisabetta Rasy. The book launches were held on Tuesday 14 March at the stand of the 'Associazione Italiana Editori'.
