Iran, special guest in Beijing book fair

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran was chosen as the special guest of Beijing book fair 2017.

 

Director of Iran Cultural Fairs Institute, Amir Masoud Shahramnia and general management of 30th Tehran international book fair, Gholamreza Noei met with general manager of Chinese press, publications, radio, movie and television, Beijing book fair organizer, project manager of occasions and international communication manager of the Beijing book fair as the organizers of this fair.

“Iran and China have appropriate capacities for developing joint cultural cooperation. Iran has always respected to China and preserved its closeness with Beijing,” Shahramnia said during this meeting.

“The two countries have also a good economic relation and should try more in cultural field,” he added.

The 24th Beijing book fair will be held 23-27 August 2017.
