As part of its ongoing mission to boost the profile of Emirati authors regionally and internationally, the Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) is showcasing the outstanding works of 37 publishers through its 'Manassah' platform at the ongoing Jeddah International Book Fair, which ends tomorrow December 17.
During the book fair, EPA is showcasing more than 330 new titles in various genres, including novels, science and education, as well as translated books and children's and young adult's literature. The association is also organising several book signing sessions to attract visitors keen on exploring the offerings of the Emirati publishing scene.
Commenting on the participation, Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of EPA, said: "Our participation in the Jeddah International Book Fair is in line with our ongoing mission to bolster the status of Emirati publishers through the 'Manassah' platform, which provides an outlet for sales and distribution that contributes to strengthening the local book industry and cultural scene, through a distinguished title selection that reflects the creativity of Emirati publishers."

Jeddah International Book Fair returns after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. It is held at Jeddah Superdome with the participation of more than 600 publishers. The event's programme includes a diverse range of panel discussions, seminars, poetry evenings, theatre shows, workshops, educational programs, and training activities for children.
